One Year,

I know this is 10 days late, but I absolutely must do an anniversary post of mine and Dan's wedding one year ago on December 31, 2011. I can hardly believe we've already been married one whole entire year! At times, it felt like it would fall apart, or time was passing by so. terribly. slowly. and at other times I could hardly believe how far we had already come! Thank you God for one year of marriage to the most amazing man, to the blessings You have lavished upon us, to the incredible growth in both our hearts, and for our love for one another. It was been a very difficult but very fulfilling year.

Oh, and for our one year anniversary - which is the 'paper anniversary' I got song lyrics from our first dance song at our wedding (It's Your Love by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill) written in calligraphy on beautiful paper by the absolutely amazing Heather from Releaf Paper, had an anniversary cake made to match one of our three wedding cakes (vanilla cake, raspberry filling, and decadent buttercream frosting), and Dan planned a train ride down to San Diego where we stayed in the same hotel for one night as the one we stayed at on our honeymoon, ate New Year's Eve/one year anniversary dinner at Ruth's Chris, and I got lobster at the Fish Market the following day. It was an amazing celebration!
