Saturday I had to wake up around 6 am (which is even earlier than I wake up on weekdays) and was running running all day long until I pushed myself too far and couldn't move my body due to the awful, throbbing, deep aches which took me into Sunday, so I slept in until 1 pm and stayed in yoga pants all day. Monday morning I had to get up just as early as I did on Saturday again, but had to go later into the evening and completely wore myself out but oh, wait, I had to do it all again on Tuesday. Yesterday I did a pretty good job of ignoring the pain, but today came and I could barely get out of bed and once I did, I got a pounding headache that is taking me into, well, right now. I thought it was simply a caffeine headache so I got the yummiest soy latte ever from Starbucks but it's not taking the ache away...

I'm joining in on the 14 Days of Love photo challenge with Mandy from Miss Indie!
But! Back to Valentine's Day. I will not disclose my plans completely for fear that Danny will stumble upon them, but know that it involves a lot of hearts and a lot of the color red. And creativity. I also got to plan and send off two sweet Valentine's packages today: one for this adorable secret blogger Valentine swap and a sweet mug along with some other goodies for the awesome Valentine's Day mug swap! I'm so excited to receive mine, but even more excited for the girlies I sent goodies to to receive theirs!

It had a red theme, if you couldn't tell.
What types of things are your struggling with lately that are burdening you?
How can I being praying for YOU?

I love your blog so much Cara!! as well as your optimism through your hard times. I would greatly appreciate if you could pray for my relationship with God right now. It's been a hard struggle lately, with self-esteem issues and all, but I know something deep within me needs me to rekindle that relationship with Our Heavenly Father. I would love if you could do that for me :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!

I find it hard to grasp that we're in February. January flew on by. I still remember New Years like it was a few days ago. Crazyyy. Lol. Oh & congratulations on your marriage sweet girl!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I have to agree with Lauren. I really love your blog. Whenever I visit your blog, I read some of your older posts. It's great to see someone have such optimism in the face of a variety of hard ships & health issues.
Your blog is genuine, which is rare. I find myself having to delete a couple of blogs per week because I get tired of blogs showing up on my dashboard that lack substance & heart. That's what blogging was originally for.
I hope you're having a great weekend!
XO,

Hello. Loved reading all about you. It is so nice how much you love your husband. I feel the same way about mine so I understand - especially the part about the wedding ring. Clinical depression is not fun. I have suffered from that in the past. I am a new follower from www.thememorynest.blogspot.com.
ReplyDeleteLove your blog! I struggle with losing weight. :( Feel better quickly!!
ReplyDeleteMmmm, look at all those goodies!
